 If you are making a decision that ultimately affects the rest of your life, you need to have all of the information so that you can make an informed choice. Knowing for sure that you are pregnant is the first place to start. Pregnancy Tests We offer a free, self-administered, clinical pregnancy test. This test is designed to determine the presence of the pregnancy hormone, human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG), in urine. The manufacturer states that this test is 97% to 99% accurate 7 - 10 days after conception. However, as with all diagnostic tests, a definitive clinical diagnosis should not be based upon the results of this test alone. The result of your self-administered pregnancy test is not a diagnosis of pregnancy. The patient who performs the self-administered pregnancy test will receive, upon request, a "self-administered Pregnancy Test" statement that will verify a positive pregnancy test. Ultrasound One way to know for sure you are pregnant is to have an ultrasound. We offer a limited obstetrical ultrasound for those who qualify.* * Our Director and Nurse Manager will determine if you qualify for an ultrasound according to appropriate medical criteria.
